Risks and limitations
Understanding an order does not tell you whether trading is right for you.
Updated on 2026-09-05
Tracepu provides general education about spot orders, fills, fees and account records. It does not know your income, debts, needs, risk tolerance or legal and tax circumstances. A guide cannot replace advice that takes those circumstances into account.
Examples are not trade recommendations
Assets, quantities and prices labelled as examples are used to explain a calculation or an order state. They are not live quotes or instructions to buy, sell or hold. Tracepu does not choose your assets, order size or trading time.
What can go wrong?
- Loss of capital: crypto prices can move sharply. You could lose some or all the money you invest.
- Unexpected execution: submitting an order does not guarantee a full fill at the price you expected. An order can remain open, fill partly or trade at several prices.
- Limited liquidity: the available buyers or sellers may not be enough for your intended quantity at the prices you saw.
- Service failures: maintenance, network problems, API outages, security incidents or account restrictions can interrupt access.
- Input mistakes: a wrong pair, direction, quantity, transfer network or address can cause a loss that is difficult or impossible to reverse.
A referral discount is not a reason to trade. Lower fees cannot offset every price fall, input mistake or loss of assets.
Availability is personal to your circumstances
Services and promotions can have different location, identity and account conditions. Before registering, funding an account or placing an order, check whether you are eligible under the current platform terms and the rules that apply to you.
The availability of this English-language guide does not establish that a particular service is permitted or offered in your location. Tracepu does not provide instructions for bypassing geographic restrictions, verification or other platform controls.
Rules and screens change
Fees, minimum amounts, field names and product availability may change after an article is checked. An update date records an editorial review; it is not a guarantee that an external rule will remain the same. Compare the explanation with the platform you are using and report a discrepancy through the corrections page.
The tool reads public rules, not your account
When you run a lookup, your browser sends a public GET request to data-api.binance.vision for a trading pair's rules. It does not sign in, read balances or orders, or place a trade.
The API can time out, limit requests, return cached information or become unavailable. A pair's status can also change. Use the result to understand fields, then check the actual order screen before acting. A successful lookup is not account approval. See tool privacy for what the request sends.
Other websites have their own terms
We do not control a linked website's security, service availability or information. Read its current terms and privacy information when you use it. Our possible financial interest in a referral is explained in the affiliate disclosure.
We cannot handle your funds
Tracepu cannot open an exchange account, move funds, reverse a transfer or recover assets. If someone claiming to represent Tracepu asks for a password, verification code, API key, recovery phrase or payment, stop. Reach the exchange's support through a channel you have independently checked. For non-urgent questions about this site's content, use the contact page.
